How do I create my first membership plan?

After signing in, go to Plans > Create New Plan. Fill in the plan name, pricing, and included services. Your plan will be immediately available for patient enrollment.

How do patients sign up for a plan?

Each practice gets a unique signup link (found in your sidebar). Share this link via text, email, or on your website. Patients can pick a plan and enroll in under 60 seconds.

When do I get paid?

Payments are processed through Stripe and deposited directly into your connected bank account. Stripe typically transfers funds within 2 business days.

What happens if a patient's payment fails?

Stripe automatically retries failed payments over several days. The patient's status will show as 'Past Due' in your dashboard. If all retries fail, the subscription is canceled.

Can patients cancel their membership?

Yes. Patients can request cancellation at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — patients keep their benefits until then.

What does JawPlans charge?

JawPlans takes an 8% platform fee on each membership payment. This is automatically deducted before funds reach your Stripe account. There are no monthly fees or setup costs.
